In the UK this is 18 years and older. And who have not been suspended or removed by Dream Whiskies for any reason (a "Member"). We reserve the right to revoke your membership for any reason at any time including as a result of a violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy, without notice. Where we revoke your membership, this will not affect current subscription periods which we have acknowledged unless we revoke as a result of your breach of these Terms or the Privacy Policy or any other guidelines or rules, in which case we may terminate all existing subscription and will not be obliged to make any refund. In event that we revoke your subscription membership, you will be reimbursed any subscription fees on a pro rata basis. Membership is void where prohibited by law.

Orders and Contracts

Dream Whiskies VIP membership subscriptions may be ordered by clicking on the subscription option you wish to purchase and then following the prompts that will appear on-screen. You may check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your subscription order to us by clicking the "Submit Order" button on the checkout page.

Your order constitutes an offer to Dream Whiskies to buy a VIP membership subscription. All orders are subject to acceptance by Dream Whiskies. Dream Whiskies is not obliged to accept your order and may, in its discretion, decline to accept any order. Where Dream Whiskies accepts your order, it will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms that you subscription has commenced.

By purchasing a month to month subscription, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. Your subscription will be automatically extended for successive monthly periods, at the original subscription rate. Your payment method (credit card, charge card, PayPal)  will be charged on the date you sign up for your subscription and thereafter on the same date of each following month until the cancellation of your subscription (if you signed up on the 6th January 2020 you will be billed on the 6th of each following month). Any cancellations need to be done prior to your initial sign-up time (the time you signed-up for your subscription) on the last day of the current month to prevent the charge for the following month. To cancel your subscription at any time, you must logon to your account or email us at support@dreamwhiskies.com and we will do it for you. If you cancel, you may use your subscription until the end of the then-current month. Dream Whiskies may submit periodic charges (e.g., monthly) without further authorisation from you, until you provide prior notice that you have terminated this authorisation or wish to change your payment method.

For multiple month subscriptions (yearly subscriptions), your subscription will automatically renew after your then-current term expires. You may cancel your subscription at any time prior to the expiry of the current term to avoid auto renewal. If you cancel your multiple month subscription other than as a result of a material breach by Dream Whiskies of these Terms, you will not be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee paid for the then-current subscription period.

Consumer Rights and Cancellation

Each Dream Whiskies VIP subscription is for these purposes a single order forming part of a regular delivery of services, so you can only cancel a subscription and receive a refund within fourteen days of first accessing the Dream Whiskies VIP membership pages on the Site. You can of course cancel your subscription at any time, but it is only if you do it within this initial fourteen day period after your initial subscription that you will be entitled to a refund (as required by UK legislation known as the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013).

To cancel your order, you must inform Dream Whiskies by email, giving us your name, address and subscription order reference. Any competition entries placed during the fourteen day period will be rendered void.

Dream Whiskies’ refunds policy is: if you cancel a subscription order within the fourteen-day cancellation period (see above), Dream Whiskies will refund you as soon as possible. Dream Whiskies will refund the price of the subscription in full. Dream Whiskies will refund the purchase price using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

Where a subscription has taken advantage of the 30-day free trial period, this will run concurrently with the 14-day cancellation period above. If subsequent to the 30-day free-trial period you decide to maintain a paid subscription, the 14-day cancellation period will be deemed to have expired during the initial 30-day free trial period and therefore you will not be entitled to any subsequent refunds.

Dream Whiskies accept no responsibility for any prizes that become unavailable due to circumstances beyond Dream Whiskies’ control.

The content of the Prize Library is the full range of prizes understood by Dream Whiskies to be available to prize winners in the UK at any given time. For competition winners outside of the UK, Dream Whiskies will make every effort to deliver the chosen prize but may have to offer an alternative due to international restrictions such as shipping limitations, local laws in respect to alcohol use, ownership or lack of  availability of the chosen whisky on the part of the partner supplier in the winner’s country or region.

In the event that the ownership and consumption of alcohol (above 30% abv) is legally permitted in a competition winner’s country, state or region and they are of legal age, but due to local or national restrictions it is not permitted to ship alcohol (above 30% abv) to the winner’s country state or region, Dream Whiskies will offer the winner a cash prize equal to the value of the winner’s selected prize (based on average UK retail price at the time) as an alternative.

Everyone’s a Winner Guarantee

The ‘Everyone’s-a-Winner’ guarantee is a commitment to reward members who have maintained a full twelve months of paid membership and have not won a Dream Whiskies competition during that time period, with a ‘thank-you’ gift.

To be eligible for the ‘thank-you’ gift, a member must have maintained a subscription for a period of 12 consecutive months and have not won a dream whiskies competition during that period.

The 12 month time period must run consecutively and not cumulatively. For example, if a member runs a subscription for 6 months and then cancel the subscription, that member would need to start a new subscription and maintain it for a 12 month period to become eligible. In the case of the 30-day free trial, the twelve month period will begin after the free-trial has expired and the paid subscription begins.

Once eligibility has been satisfied (after 12 consecutive months subscription) Dream Whiskies will send a ‘thank-you’ gift to the eligible member. All shipping & related costs will be at the expense of Dream Whiskies.

The ‘thank-you’ gift will be at the discretion of Dream Whiskies and will adhere to the following criteria:

The gift will relate to the subject of whisky, (e.g. book, glassware, accoutrement, etc.)

Gift value will be a minimum of 16% of total subscription value (equating to approximately £10) over the 12 month period

Gift will be shipped at standard, signed-for class within 7 days of the member becoming eligible.

Dream Whiskies reserve the right to change the proposed gift at any time at Dream Whiskies sole discretion.

The Everyone's-a-Winner Guarantee was withdrawn as an offer on March 17th 2020. Therefore any member joining subsequent to this date will not be eligible for the this offer.
